From 20th–22nd November 2025, several member tour companies of the Exclusive Sustainable Tour Operators Association (ESTOA) proudly represented Uganda at the International Tourism & Travel Fair (ITTF) in Warsaw, Poland.
Participating alongside the Embassy of Uganda in Berlin, the companies highlighted Uganda’s growing reputation as a world-class destination for responsible, community-driven, and conservation-focused tourism.
A Unified Representation of Uganda’s Green Tourism Vision
This year’s participation brought together ESTOA-affiliated tour operators and the Ugandan Embassy in Berlin under one shared objective:
to position Uganda as a leading sustainable and culturally rich destination on the global travel map.
The partnership ensured that Uganda’s message of authenticity, eco-conscious travel, and community inclusivity reached international buyers, media, and travel professionals attending the expo.
Showcasing Sustainable Travel Experiences from Uganda
The ESTOA member companies presented a diverse portfolio of eco-friendly and socially responsible tourism products, including:
•Low-impact wildlife and safari experiences
•Community-based tourism ventures benefiting local families and cultural groups
•Regenerative travel itineraries aligned with conservation goals
•Exclusive collaborations with eco-lodges, local guides, and nature-based enterprises
Visitors to the Uganda stand explored offerings ranging from gorilla trekking and birding expeditions to local immersion journeys that empower communities and protect cultural heritage.

Across the three-day expo, the Uganda stand attracted strong interest from:

•Travel agencies focused on sustainable and experiential travel

•Industry professionals exploring partnerships within East Africa
The enthusiasm reaffirmed Uganda’s position as a rising hub for responsible adventure and cultural tourism.

This joint participation by ESTOA member companies and the Embassy of Uganda in Berlin demonstrated the power of coordinated efforts between private sector innovators and diplomatic representation.
